THINGS TO BRING 📋
REQUIRED:
• Horse/Pony in good working condition!
• Proof of your horse/pony’s immunizations - if not submitted before clinic
• Copy of your horse/pony’s negative coggins - if not submitted before clinic

REQUIRED:
• SEI/ASTM certified helmet
• Riding boots or close-toed footwear with a heel
RECOMMENDED:
• For Cross Country Participants: Protective riding vest
Riding:
• Saddle
• Bridle
• Reins
• Saddle Blanket
• Girth/Cinch
• Halter and Lead Rope
Grooming:
• Curry Comb
• Body Brush
• Mane and Tail Comb/Brush
• Hoof Pick
REQUIRED:
• 2 Buckets (for water)
• Hay Net
• Bedding (you may need 8 or more bags of shavings)
RECOMMENDED:
• Stall Fan (with extension cord)
• Stall Hooks
• Stall Fork
• Garden Hose
• Staple guns
• Tack Box or Bag (for organizing tack and supplies)
• Trailer to store feed, hay, and equipment
• Electrolytes to feed (for keeping performing horses hydrated)
• Saddle Rack (for storing your saddle)
While a first aid kit is not required, it is recommended to always be prepared!
Wound Care Supplies
• Absorbent gauze pads
• Vet Wrap
• Adhesive tape (non-stick)
• Antibiotic ointment for wounds (like Neosporin)
• Cotton wool or padding
Antiseptics and Cleaning Solutions
• Antiseptic solution (like Betadine or Chlorhexidine)
• Hydrogen peroxide (for cleaning wounds)
• Saline solution (for eye washing or wound irrigation)
Pain Relief and Anti-Inflammatory
• Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like Bute (consult a vet for appropriate dosage)
• Banamine (for colic and other pain relief; consult a vet for dosage and use)
Other Essential Items
• Digital thermometer (to check for fever)
• Scissors (for cutting bandages)
• Flashlight (for checking injuries in low light)
